Jamie’s Diagnosis/ Prognosis

Jamie served in the Air Force from 2003 (RAF Lakenheath, UK and McConnell AFB, KS) until her honorable discharge in 2007. She now holds a 100% service-connected disability rating of PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety Disorder through the VA (Veterans Affairs), due to the effects of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) at RAF Lakenheath. Despite facing self-harm, addiction, two divorces, periods of homelessness, and overcoming religious and spiritual trauma, she's battling her second round of cancer.

She's tried various therapies and medications, relying on the VA's support. Yet, Jamie refuses to be limited. Her belief in pushing boundaries fuels her growth, authenticity, healing, and light-bringing mission. By challenging conventional norms and questioning life's deeper purpose, she examines the root of trauma, rewriting her story with healing techniques. Her unique path is guided by meeting the right people at the right time.

In 2017, at 34, she was diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade 3 Ductal Carcinoma in her left breast. Treatment included a double mastectomy, lymph node removal, chemotherapy, DIEP Flap reconstructive surgery, and a complete hysterectomy, followed by ongoing hormone therapy. These treatments brought physical challenges like chronic pain and autoimmune disorders leading to bone and joint degeneration.

In February 2023, during production, she was diagnosed with a regional recurrence of Stage 3, Grade 3, Luminal B cancer in her lymph nodes. Surgery left her with nerve complications, altering her shoulder blade. Despite unplanned setbacks, she completed chemotherapy. Now, inspite of financial setbacks, she continues to fight for her health repairing her body holistically documenting her journey along the way.
